Our staff of experienced code officials, plans examiners and inspectors have experience in both the public and private sectors. We are building code experts and are also familiar with the requirements that are unique to each permitting agency.
Plan Review
 In the development and construction business, time IS money. Obtaining the required governmental approvals is difficult enough without incurring unnecessary delays. Most design professionals have a good working knowledge of the building codes, but few can be experts. Having the construction documents and drawings rejected by the local building department because they are not code compliant is an unnecessary delay. M & W Inspection Services, LLC can save you valuable time ($$MONEY$$) by performing a complete “soup to nuts” code compliance plan review of your residential or commercial project PRIOR to submittal to the local building department. Your drawings will be reviewed by certified, experienced plans examiners and will include:

- Accessibility Code (ADAAG) & Fair Housing requirements
- Component & Cladding consultation
- Egress
- Energy Code compliance
- Fire-resistant construction
- Structural drawings including:
- Steel framing connections
- Truss layout
- Truss engineering

- Manual ‘J’ HVAC system sizing calculations
- Manual ‘N’ HVAC system sizing calculations
- Plumbing drawings
A written critique is then provided to your design professional outlining the required corrections with the relevant code referenced. We work with the design professional of record to insure the corrections are accurate. We are available to meet with building department personnel to discuss any concerns or questions they may have. Drawings that are reviewed and approved by M & W Inspection Services, LLC are usually approved by the permit issuing authority on the first review. Your project gets “out of the ground” faster. Additional time ($$MONEY$$) will be saved throughout the life of the project because of a code compliant set of drawings.

Inspections
M & W Inspection Services, LLC also offers residential and commercial building code, electrical, mechanical and plumbing inspection services. Our staff of certified code inspectors have many years of field experience. Municipal inspectors perform a vital service to the development and construction industries. Municipal inspectors verify that the work performed meets the minimum standards set by the applicable building, electrical, mechanical and plumbing codes. They do not inspect for quality of materials or workmanship. Our quality control and quality assurance inspections will provide you with the comfort level of knowing that your product meets or exceeds the minimum standards required under the applicable codes,  but also meets or exceeds industry standards for materials and workmanship and the standards required by the construction documents.
